How does Send & Shoot Product Photography work?
STEP ONE
Drop me a line to enquire about product photography. We’ll arrange a video consultation to chat about your requirements. I will send you a full quote & a breakdown of costs. A 50% deposit is payable before the shoot. The balance is due on delivery of the images.
STEP TWO
You send me your products via post.
Please include sufficient packaging for the safe return of your items. You can also send any props that you would like included in your photos. Whilst I have a large range of props in my studio, including some of your own is a great way to add touches of your personality to your images.
We’ll share a Pinterest Board to collaborate on styling ideas. This helps me to get a feel for what you like.
STEP THREE
I shoot your products in my home studio. Photography, styling & editing are all included in the price so you can simply sit back & relax! I will send a test shot to you at the start of the shoot to ensure that you’re happy with the style & approach before proceeding.
I have a variety of backdrops & props available, however, if you require a background or prop that I don’t keep in stock, I can source these for you. With your approval, the cost will be added to your invoice.
STEP FOUR
When ready, the photos are uploaded to a private online gallery. You can download & use them immediately. They are supplied in high-resolution for print use & low-resolution for web use. Turnaround time for the images is usually seven days from the date of the shoot.
STEP FIVE
When full payment is received, your products are repacked in the original packing you sent the items in & sent back to you by registered post.
ADDITIONAL COSTS
-
Return postage.
-
Additional sets of resized images.
-
Text & graphical overlays with product names.

What is the investment?
Product photography pricing UK (International clients, please contact me for a bespoke quote).
I get it, as a small business, costs matter. My quotes are on a shoot by shoot basis because I know that one size does not always fit all. I offer a personalised service to every client creating the photos YOU need to sell YOUR products. Your products are unique to you & so your quote is unique to you. Not all products fit into the same standard photography package.
Before any decisions are made, we have a chat, usually over video so that you can show me your product range. During this conversation, you can tell me all about your brand & your products. When I understand a little more about your business, what it is you sell, who you sell to & how you sell, I can then give you a full – no-obligation – quote & breakdown of costs.
You can then decide whether you want to proceed exactly as quoted or whether you need to tweak your requirements slightly to adjust costs.
Pricing depends on several things; the number of products, the number of different backgrounds, settings & styles you require & whether you need any specific backgrounds or props sourcing.
I know, as a small business, you need to budget & you might not want to immediately spend an hour on a call with me to get a price. To give you a ballpark figure, here is a general guide as to how I price Send & Shoot product photography.
